Process: Light oxidized and rolled Oolong
1. View
The dry leaves are dark green and of varied sizes. The brew has great clarity and transparency with a very fresh yellow/green color. The open leaves are very big compared to the buds. They are thick, but flexible.
2. Scents
The dry leaves smell like fine, fresh spring flowers. In the brew, there are some peach notes, but these are less dominant than very fine and evanescent fresh fragrances.
3. Taste
The energy, the Cha Qi of this Oolong is amazing! It has a very long aftertaste that is further accentuated by a mineral taste.
Conclusion: I haven't touched a word to the description, because, once again, the 104K sets the mark for the most outstanding high mountain Oolong tea in Taiwan. It's simply perfect!
