Origin: Dong Ding, Nantou county, Taiwan
Process: Insect bitten leaves with light to medium oxidation and a light roast in an electrical roaster.
1. Sight
The dry leaves are rolled and have dark green colors with some white tips. The brew is shiny and clear. The color is a gold orange. The open leaves are quite small and have nice signs of oxidation on the edges.
2. Fragrances.
The dry scents are sweet and woody. The brew's scents are like light honey scents, typical of jassid bitten Oolong.
3. Taste
The taste is smooth upfront. It has good sweetness and a clean taste!
Conclusion: Besides, this plantation is on a hill close to the Qilin pond, near the Dong Ding village. We can see a lot of weed growing freely in the plantation, a sign that the farmer isn't using herbicides. This organic approach has helped to attract the necessary tea jassids for a Concubine Oolong that is on the lighter side.
