This Oriental Beauty Oolong comes from the birthplace of Oriental Beauty in Beipu, Hsin Chu county, Taiwan. What makes this tea special is that it's not just made from organically grown Qingxin DaPang leaves, but that these leaves were heavily bitten by tea jassids (Jacobiasca formosana Paoli). The leaves react to these bites by producing a defense mechanism that causes the flavors of the brew to smell like a feminine perfume. This tea was produced in a batch of only 3 kg!
