Cultivar: Jin GuanYin
Harvested by hand: April 5th, 2021
Origin: Pinglin, Wenshan, Taiwan
Process: Lightly oxidized Baozhong, twisted leaves with stems, well dried.
1. View
The dry leaves are large, uneven in color and contain stems. The yellow brew has a good transparency. The open leaves have red edges, typical of a traditional oxidation process.
2. Scents
The dry scents of the leaves remind me of Taiwan's hot springs scents! The brew has a refined subtropical forest fragrances with high flowery and lemon notes. It is very bright and elegant.
3. Taste
The taste is sweet, long and pure. It has a light zesty aftertaste that is typical of a new plantation. It has good, pure energy.
Conclusion: This Jin GuanYin Baozhong comes from the first (and, so far, only) Jin Guan Yin plantation in the Wenshan area! This means that it has the advantages of a new plantation: pure scents, clean taste, natural energy...
