This round teapot, decorated with lotus petals, is made from a good quality and hard zisha clay. It was fired at a rather low temperature: dull sound of the cover when it touches the body of the teapot.
The craftsmanship of this teapot is good. The lotus petal decoration extends from the body to the lid. The curved spout produces an elegant flow. It's easy to slightly open the lid with your finger while pouring.
This teapot was made some 20 years ago and has been used in the past. It has a tiny hole near its base on the first picture. But this has no impact on the brew and makes this teapot even more unique.
It has a flat inside filter with 4 small holes.
This elegant teapot is a good fit with Hung Shui Oolong or puerh.
The mark under the teapot is 'China Yixing'.
